Online Payment System Now ‘Live’!

BOAT clubhouse

Paying your subs has never been easier with the option of paying by PayPal as well as other traditional methods. The system has now been successfully tested and we are already receiving subs via PayPal.

Payment FAQs

  1. Single – £25
  2. Dual – £40
  3. Single + Engine Space – £40
  4. Dual + Engine Space – £55
  5. Engine Space Only – £15 + £5 joining fee (key charge).

When are my subs due?
All subs are due on June 1st each year.

Is the new online payment system secure?
Absolutely. PayPal transactions are made directly on their site and you will be directed back to B.O.A.T. once the transaction has completed. Even if you don’t have a PayPal account, you can still use your credit or debit card to make payment, just as you would with regular online shopping sites such as Amazon, eBay etc.

I still don’t trust online payment systems. Can I pay my subs in the old way?
Sure, no problem. We can still accept cash, cheque & BACS payments just as we have always done however, the more members that use this payment system the easier it will be for our Treasurer who is always very busy at subs time.

Who/What is MemberMoJo?

This is the company that supplies the club payment software. Every registered member of B.O.A.T. now has their own profile page, where you can manage all your own details that are stored on the database, such as phone, email, address, password etc. It’s from here that you can also make your subs payment.

Sounds good! How do I login?
If you go to the B.O.A.T. website and select “How To Join or Renew” in the menu at the top of every page you will see a couple of links (1 for new members & 1 for existing members). Select the relevant link and you will then arrive at the MemberMoJo login page. When logging in, you will have the option to sign in with an email address only, or sign in with an email address/password (recommended). If you sign in with an email address only, then you will get a ‘verification’ email sent to your email address where you can then click on a link to verify your address. You will then arrive at your profile page where you can manage your details and also make your subs payment.

To protect your page, it is recommended (though not compulsory) that you set a password.

Club Fees, what are the options?
This year, for simplicity’s sake, we are dropping the ‘Joint’ membership option and just keeping the ‘Dual’ option.
There are 5 membership options which are self-explanatory. Club fees are the same as last year.

You will notice that some of the options incur a joining fee. This only applies to new members, or existing members who are taking an engine space for the first time.

Anything else I should know?
Yes, when making an online payment you will be required to tick a box stating that you agree to do at least 1 x Boat Watch in the upcoming June to May year. This also applies to any other form of payment.

Please use the new system if you possibly can as it will help to lighten the load for our hard working Treasurer at this busiest time of the year. The system will automatically email you 30 days, then 11 days before the June 1st deadline so please help us by paying promptly.

If you would like to check out your profile page (no need to make payment yet) then this link will take you straight to the MemberMoJo Login Page.

Please check that all your details are correct, and amend where necessary. Every database has the odd error, so it will help us greatly if you can check that your details are correct and fully up to date.

If you have any questions, or concerns then please drop us a line at the B.O.A.T. Contact Page.
